Negative People...

Get rid of the negative people in your life - surround yourself with positive people who believe in you and inspire you.
So this week, I decided that I needed to pare down my "friends" list on Facebook.  Part of it has to do with the fact that since I am under a ton of stress, I have no patience for whiners and overall negative people.  When I was pregnant with Chloe, I became part of an online/website mother's group.  I met a lot of people and some who I am still close to.  However, I did start evaluating some of my acquaintances in that respect.  I finally came to the conclusion that even though we were friends on FB, many of them where not people that I had anything in common with except that we had children around the same age.  As time has gone by, some people have remained good friends with great ideas, businesses, and conversations.  Still others grew apart due to various reasons.  On any account, I have had friends like this throughout my life. However, the ones that have shaped my life, I always find a way to reconnect with them and they usually come back around or we cross paths when I need them the most. So I have kept the people who have inspired me and weeding out the Negative Nellies.
Three of those people who have inspired me with their dedication to weight loss have been two fellow Army wives and a friend of mine who started her journey way before I started mine. Not only have they encouraged me, but have pushed me to do better than I EVER could have alone.  They have listened to me when I was freaked out about the vomiting, written words of encouragement and taken the time to listen when I really need someone who has gone through this to help me. Several people have mentioned that they can tell that I have lost weight, but I couldn't really tell, so I took a cue from the ladies I mentioned before and did a before and after pic.
Even if you are not on a weight loss journey, we can all use friends who inspire us and encourage us, even if that means "weeding" people out.  In the long run, those are a faithful and true will stick by you no matter what! And those ladies I mentioned and EVERYONE else who encourages me or reads my blog: I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support!  It means the world to me!
 Love you all, Ami

Ami,I have to agree with above post, you have always been beautiful! Your bubbly personality and compassion for others always shone through when I was in your classes:) I loved your stories, views and opinions that you brought into your teaching style. After all that you have been through you were and are always an inspiration to others. I just wish you did not live so far away so I could see you more often! Take care and call if you need anything!
