PTSD....

A long time friend of mine, who is stationed in Korea, brought the below blog link to my attention. We both have talked about how our PTSD is more of an annoyance than something that controls our daily lives. Though we recognize that others suffer greatly, we also have learned to deal with things like panic attacks, heightened awareness, and moved on. Still there are people out there who use it as an excuse. I personally think mine has made me more empathetic but also tougher on people who want to use it as an excuse. However, it is important that people are taught and utilize coping mechanisms so they can remain functional members of society and that people close to them, encourage them to do so... Here is the link... Read and learn. http://rhinoden.rangerup.com/i-have-ptsd-so-what/
