How the Blog Was Named...

I have decided to name this blog, "Graceful Steps". I chose this name based on a variety of reasons:

1. I am usually a rough and tumble tomboy and this denotes that I am treading lightly.


2. This process is a HUGE step for me and instead of rushing through it, I have realized that I have to take small steps or "graceful steps" as my Grandmother Rosalie used to say.


3. God's grace and mercy have been extended to me and I am rid of all past hurts that have not allowed me to do things for me. It's not being selfish when you are doing something to also benefit others in your life

So though I started my journey to this point over a year ago, I am still realizing that I have a lot to learn and I am not going to fail at this second chance at life.
